Burgers in Krakow

That Monday was full of different things starting from the final exam with my lovely group and stress, stress, stress in the morning and burgers in the evening. I want to point out from the beginning I am not the burgers fan. If I have an option to choose between the burger and any other dish, more likely I will go for the second choice. But let me show the burger places I have fallen in love with. Moreover, I am planning to invite my future guests there as well.

So the spot is Meat&Go 🙂 Located in Dolnych Mlynow 10, the former factory of tobacco products. Made with very simple design without any dark, fancy furniture, this place would look more of Soviet Union canteen with its sparse decoration and bad service. And that’s what I had got in my mind when we just entered the restaurant. But once I came closer to the counter and long tables beside it I saw beautiful fresh flowers everywhere, clean glasses without any fingers prints on them, clean mirrors and smiling ladies who were ready to receive an order from 10 or more people.

Speaking of the staff there, I was impressed. Girls at the bar suggested what to order, what to drink and so on. You may think that it is quite natural when the staff advises you to what and how. But you might expect this level of service in the restaurants where is a waiter serving your table. But when it is a self-service, snack place you do not anticipate that.

So let’s see what they offer on the menu :).

So as you probably saw from the picture I have ordered Pulled Pork burger. Be honest; I can bet that I have never tried anything like this before. From the first bite, you can feel fresh, juicy meat mixed with cabbage, grated carrot, flavored with middle spicy sauce. Oh my God, it was my dinner for Monday.

I know and better to say I realize that using fork and knife is not the best way to eat burger but this one was so big as a regular meal, so I decided to look like a human while eating 🙂
